The Lord Mayor's Charity Ball

Supporting Three Irish Charities

Annual Black Tie Gala Dinner

The Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball 2026

The Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball is an annual black-tie gala dinner fully supported and sponsored by EHL Experiences, with the goal of raising funds for three Irish Charities. It is hosted in the historic Round Room at the Mansion House, a prestigious and elegant venue reflecting the event’s tradition and civic significance.

The Charity Ball is a ticketed gala dinner event in Dublin which takes place each year. The money raised goes to each of the three chosen charities.

We are delighted to open our doors for The Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball once again in The Round Room at the Mansion House on Saturday 18th April 2026. This year’s event will proudly support three exceptional Irish charities: ChildVision, Down Syndrome Ireland, and FirstLight.

A Night of Elegance - What to Expect

Tickets are sold per person or per table (recommended), with the full ticket price going directly to the chosen charity.

On the night of the Ball, guests enjoy:

  • A drink on arrival in The Oak Room of the Mansion House and a warm welcome from the Lord Mayor of Dublin
  • A three course dinner in The Round Room
  • Auction and Raffle throughout the evening
  • Live Entertainment including band, DJ and dancing into the night

Tickets are priced at €2,000 per table of 10 or €200 per person. The full ticket price goes directly to the charity.

The evening is fully sponsored by EHL Experiences.

We are always honoured to be part of this amazing event.

2026 Charities

Each year, the Dublin Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball supports three Irish charities. Two are selected by the sitting Lord Mayor of Dublin, and one is chosen by EHL Experiences.

For the 2026 Ball, the beneficiary charities are:

FirstLight

Founded as the Irish Sudden Infant Death Association, FirstLight provides professional crisis intervention, counselling, and therapeutic services to families experiencing the sudden or unexpected death of a child. For 45 years, their accredited team has offered nationwide support free of charge, relying heavily on fundraising to maintain their essential work. This year also marks their 50th anniversary, making this partnership especially meaningful.

ChildVision

ChildVision is Ireland’s national education and therapy centre for children and young adults with sight loss and complex disabilities. For nearly 160 years, the organisation has evolved, innovated, and expanded to ensure every young person in its care receives the support they need to live a life of dignity, independence, and hope.

Down Syndrome Ireland

Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI) provides lifelong support and services to people with Down syndrome and their families through its national office and 25 branches. Working across health, early development, education, independence, and adult support, DSI enhances the lives of thousands of children and adults nationwide.
